What's a smacktard? Why do you think Bush is "loosin the plot" and steering the USA down the drain? I am not passing judgement on you here, I am just curious about your opinion.

Life is good.

Yeah, and Tony Blair didn't stand a chance for re-election either ... (http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/05/06/british.election.main/) be glad "somebody" has the balls to say what he means, mean what he says, and take action.

BTW, the Queen was in Canada during my visit. Is Australia still under the Queen?

Well I regret not finding this topic earlier. Let me tell you one thing if President Bush was not our president then I bet you we would be in a worse position. For all you Clinton lovers out there, why did Clinton ignore the time we got attacked the first time, maybe because he didn't have the guts to take action, and be known for being the President that started some war? What will it take to get it through people's heads that there are people out there who want to kill us? As for the war in Iraq, I don't really care whether they found WMD's because they're probably buried in the sand anyway, but the main point is that Sadamm didn't need WMD's to be a threat....he already was without them! Finally, we get a President that'll step up to the plate, and I regret that more people in the world aren't supportive of him. He's doing his best, and taking care of the business, and I think some people have forgotten what 9/11 was all about, and now I am sorry to say I think we have gotten back to the nieve country we were before 9/11. So let's show a little more support and respect for President Bush, Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Prime Minister Howard. 3 Cheers for Bush!

Way to go for stating your opinion phil whether its agreed on or not although i couldn't give a toss about politics either way so thats why this thread should have been in the Politics section in the beginning.

To me it is starting to seem like that the U.S., Australia, and Great Britain, are doing all of these other countries dirty work, because when we kill terrorists, we are not only doing it for ourselves, but the other countires that don't support us like France and Germany to name a few, also get the good effect, when all they did was criticize us.

I always respected the U.S. and it's people. Some people are just afraid and they should be. I personally think the U.S. is holding back quite a bit. They could distroy the world if they needed to.

Good lord clinton, you say you hate the country most of these guys here in the forum live in & then say 'hey, it's not personal', how is that not personal??

As pretty much everyone in this place knows i am one of the biggest motor-mouths around but theres times when some things that a mature minded person knows is best not to say in certain places and thats one that shouldn't have been said in here thats for freakin sure.
It's straight up insulting.
You more then ever have your right to think it ofcourse, but saying it to the people that actually reside in the place you hate and who you chat to online, well, thats a pretty arsehole thing to do.

Thank christ most aussies do not think like that.

The best I could respond is by saying there are a lot more positive attributes to living here than there are negative. At least you could have an opinion here, other leaders might have you killed. Hope you're ready to give up the Jim Beam, and anything else alcoholic for that matter. For their will is yours, you are not your own.

From my heart: In the end, no matter what. The US, UK, Canada, OZ and NZ are the best countries in the world to live/thrive. If you don't like your country's politics then either vote or move. If you don't vote or move then shutup! I choose to vote every time then I can freely speak my piece if I feel like it, right or wrong.

Right now I choose to just support our brothers and sisters in conflict overseas, their lives can be ended or changed forever in a heartbeat. How about praying for them instead of getting pissed and flaming? All know who I mean here I am sure.

Support the troops, or give up the very freedmoms that they (the troops) are prepared to die for.

The same goes for the politicians. Giving aid, or hope, to the enemy should be considered an act of treason, in times of war.

God Bless the Men and Women that serve under the stars, the stripes, and our Commander-in-Chief.
